Robert Walters PLC said Wednesday that it achieved record net fee income for the second quarter, and that it expects full-year profit to exceed market expectations.
The U.K. recruitment company said net fee income for the quarter ended June 30 rose to 112.0 million pounds ($133.9 million) from GBP89.0 million a year earlier.
The company said it benefited from a robust performance in the Asia-Pacific region, with 11 of 13 markets delivering double-digit on-year increases in net fee income.
The company said it expects full-year profit to be slightly above current market expectations, without providing figures.
Full-year pretax profit is expected to be GBP57.9 million, according to three analysts’ forecast estimations taken from FactSet. This compares with GBP50.2 million reported for the previous year.
