International stocks trading in New York closed mixed on Wednesday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts fell almost 0.6% to 127.47. The European index fell 0.9% to 119.59, the Asian index dropped 0.2% to 151.19, the Latin American index increased nearly 0.2% to 190.31 and the emerging markets index closed 0.4% higher at 265.39.
Immuron Ltd. and Shenzhou International Group Holdings Ltd. were among the companies with ADRs that traded actively.
ADRs of Immuron dropped 9% to $2.03, erasing gains made yesterday when the Australian biopharmaceutical company said it had reached a clinical trial agreement with the U.S.-based Pharmaron CPC to examine the use of its drug Travelan on military personnel.
ADRs of Shenzhou International Group rose 9% to $8.47, rebounding from a six-session selloff as shares in Hong Kong rallied. Analysts say the Chinese apparel maker’s gains are likely temporary.
ADRs of Evaxion Biotech A/S dipped 3% to $2.89 after the Denmark-based company announced the hiring of a new chief executive.
